I recently learned that the Sketchbook Project and Brooklyn Art Library is closing for good. The sketchbooks that were not destroyed in a trailer fire while being transported to the new location will be distributed to other galleries and museums.
Sadly two out of the four sketchbooks I had in the collection were lost in the fire. The other sketchbooks will go elsewhere. To see all of the sketchbooks that I had submitted and where part of the collection, go to the SKETCHBOOK PROJECT PAGE.

Here are a few test images from my newest works on paper project. It is in fact yet another Sketch Book Project, the fourth that I have worked on. The theme for this Sketch Book Project - Volume 18 is THOUGHT BOX. This sketchbook grew out the previous three sketchbooks and a visual journal that I completed last year in lock down (see previous post). In this sketch book images are thoughts and thought are images. The images are combination of my own photography, clip art and a kind of schematic of my creative process. I will present the whole sketch book before I submit it to the Brooklyn Art Library.
Here are a few pages of a new VISUAL JOURNAL I have developed using the CREATIVE LEARNING DESIGN FRAMEWORK which is also tied to a new service I hope to launch in September.
Below is my submission to the Brooklyn Art Library, Tiny Sketchbook Project Volume 2.
